Bet on England

Well here we are on Sunday reflecting on England’s 1-0 victory over Paraguay. It wasn’t the greatest of games but the atmosphere and the occasion were wonderful and the England fans were fantastic inside the stadium where they sang their hearts out.

I was sat next to the actor Ray Winston and just in front of Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham) and Wayne Rooney’s girlfriend Colleen McLoughlin.

I have to say England’s fans were made very to feel very welcome in Frankfurt and I take back what I said last week about the poor reception from locals.

As for the game, Sven Goran Eriksson must not rate Theo Walcott because he had the teenager available but didn’t play him and used Joe Cole upfront instead after he had taken off Michael Owen.

Why didn’t Sven take another striker when he had players like Jermain Defoe, Darren Bent, or Andy Johnson available?

Steven Gerrard looked okay in the holding role but they never went to him or passed the ball and instead played a long-ball game which may have set English football back a bit. If you need to bet on the premiership you can do so here premiership betting !

That said, it was England’s first game and I am totally convinced that we will get better. Certainly once Wayne Rooney returns everything will surely change for the better and we won’t play as badly as that again.

However, we got the three points which is the main thing at the moment and it was a great occasion.
